Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)
LPG is primarily a mixture of propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10), sometimes with small amounts of propylene and butylene.
LPG is a byproduct of two main processes: Crude oil refining: Its separated from crude oil during the distillation process and Natural gas processing: Its extracted from "wet" natural gas streams.
LPG is liquefied by applying moderate pressure at ambient temperatures. This means it can be stored and transported in relatively simple, single-walled pressure vessels
